Oak One versus Honeysuckle in Munsee Woods

The AmeriCorps NCCC team Oak One is working with Muncie Delaware Stormwater Management from July 18 to September 9. Oak One is assisting this organization with a variety of projects around the community with a focus on improving the environment.
While staying in a cabin in Munsee Woods, the team is helping restore and conserve the former girl scouts camp.
Open House Celebrating Jeanne Crosby's 80th Birthday
An open house will be held Sunday July 31st at the Vinton Lutheran Home Community room from 1-4pm. Jeanne was born in Mt. Auburn and lived most of her life in Vinton. So whether you have known her as Chris and Kim's mom, or Ellie and Robyn's grandma, or just Grandma Jeanne come celebrate with us.

AmeriCorps NCCC Continues Support of Jasper and Newton Counties in Missouri

Three teams of AmeriCorps NCCC (National Civilian Community Corps) members from the Vinton campus are working with FEMA on disaster case management in Jasper and Newton Counties in Missouri. They are partnering with the Jasper County Long Term Recovery Committee to assist local survivors of the April floods and May tornado with acquiring the help they need.
